Our first wet day fortunately only the afternoon but enough thank you
The morning started with an early off from our excellent stop Greg had cooked breakfast of sausage and bread not a British banger but a polish (obviously) one which he boiled, surprisingly nice and very welcomed especially when it was accompanied with a mug of streaming tea
I started this tour barely getting every thing in the three panniers and despite throwing away some worn clothing, I save my old underwear and socks with holes for trips like this and wear them for the last time allowing me more room in my pannier, however dispute time going on and me divesting several items I am still struggling to get it all in the pannier
Having packed we set off researching some Second World War sights which I found quite depressing thinking that in Ukraine they are going through exactly and I do mean exactly the same thing a country at the whim of one person bent on seemingly a untenable objective
We visited the Wolf lair which is where the attempt to assassinate Hitler took place really interesting and I hope to have some photos to add eventually
